While the male cardinal is the vibrant red that we are all familiar with, the female is more subdued in color, presenting a duller hue, but she still shares many beautiful features such as her lovely crest, the distinct red-orange bill, and a fairly long tail. While the female cardinal might not be as striking in color compared to her male counterpart, it is important to note that, well, we’ll just say that they aren’t trying to find someone to carry out their bloodlines. Despite this, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t just as beautiful in their own unique way!
